Course Information

This course is designed for those interested in all three types of welding (MIG, TIG and Arc Welding) and is tailored to the individual student. The course can lead to a formal welding qualification in one of these units at Level 2, 3 or 4, depending on the welder's previous experience. The Skills and Education Group is a nationally recognised qualification. The cost of one unit's assessment is included in the course fees. Further assessments will have to be paid for separately. Students must wear overalls and steel toe capped boots in the workshop.
